WAKEN TO HEAR

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep Zechariah 4:1

Mortal men and women often need to be wakened to be able to receive information from some Channels. In Revelation 4:1, Apostle John had to be taken “up” from the mortal plane before he could be shown “things which must be hereafter.”

In Ezekiel 37:1, the very “hand of the LORD” had to come “upon” the prophet Ezekiel to carry him “out” to the planes from where he could see the things that God wanted to show to him. That had not been the only time. Earlier in chapter 2 verse 2, the Spirit of God had to enter into him to set him on his feet, so that he could hear the words that were waiting then to be received by him for all of us. The prophet Isaiah himself confessed to his “ears” being very regularly wakened so that he would not only hear, but “hear” well, “as the learned” (Isaiah 50:4).

The prophet Daniel once had an angelic visitor who had come all the way from Heaven to grant him insights into certain global and eternal issues, but the angel found him in need of being wakened. In the words of Daniel, “I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground.” The angel, first, had to touch him to wake him up, then set him “upright” on his feet, before he could proceed with the information from Heaven, to “make [him] know what shall be” (Daniel 8:18- 19). In Daniel 10:9-10, there was another such experience.

At a time when Moses and Elijah, representing the Law and the Prophets (or the Old Testament) came to confer with the New Dispensation, Peter and the rest were found "heavy with sleep," right in the face of "his glory" which had come down from Heaven, waiting to be received by ready mortals (Luke 9:32). They lost much to that deathly sleep. Had they not been sleeping, they could have heard more of the things that they were able to report to us about that day.

Often, we do not receive signals from Heaven because we are tuned off, and need first, to be wakened, to be taken up, to have our ears opened, etc.

May the Lord take me up this day to where I can hear Him well. May every Satanic slumber, meant to shut me off from receiving from on High, today lose its hold on my life, in Jesus name. Amen.
